You know deeed, I don't think that was a very appropriate comment.  I can promise you that I don't know the moderators in real life, considering I live in the United States, and they live on an entirely different continent.  I am a player, just like yourself.  The only difference is, I actually contributed back to the game by offering ideas, suggestions, feedback, OF MY OWN FREE WILL, and NOT for any sort of reward other than contributing to future improvements of this game, which has unlimited potential in my professional opinion.

I was one of the few 70+ level players that participated in the mentoring event.  I helped correct some oversights when the event first began with the polls, and I even crafted in great detail what my mentoring includes.  Although the event has ended, I am still mentoring and monitoring my sole student, and have offered mentoring to someone who posted on the forums after the event has ended.

I have posted a poll about the item crafting function of my own free will, to see if the majority of people felt the same way about crafting as some others who have experienced bad results do.

My biggest suggestion is hidden from the public view, for if it is implemented, I believe that it will be one of the greatest events that 2029 has ever had.  Although all the public can see is some hidden content, there are several posts, with some of them near maximum capacity of 15000 bytes.  It took me nearly 4 days to craft it from beginning to end, accounting for every detail.
Granted it was for the Halloween game event with a 100K reward basis, but I was more interested in contributing something back to the game, that would not only improve it, but would be something ALL players could enjoy, not just players within a certain level bracket.

There are other various concerns ongoing that I am involved in, and more polls to come in the future, should participation in the forums rise a bit.

The biggest difference is, I am not even a G.M. or forum moderator.  I did this because I saw a need, and so I tried to the best of my ability to fill it, as I am an enthusiastic supporter of this game.

I can only imagine the total amount of things the G.M.s and forum moderators do on a regular basis behind the scenes.  I have seen the just the great multitude of things that they have done with and on the forums, and I commend them for that.

I also know that there will probably be more features added to the forums in the near future, and I am also willing to help with that if I am able, and if they would welcome my input.

On a final note....  Please compare my post count to your own and realize that there is only around a 20 post difference, and I have karma, favor, credits.. etc.  My detailed history shows I have been around since May 26th of this year.  Therefore, it stands to reason that when I post something, I make it worthwhile, and participate in events, and make noteworthy comments and discoveries.

The forum moderators themselves have all stated multiple times that if you would like to increase your favor or karma or whatever, all you need do is participate in events, the forums in general, and make some contributions.

But the bottom line is, I have done what I have done, not for reward, but because I wanted to make a difference.  That was reward enough in itself.  I am still a bit in shock over the extreme honor and items that were bestowed upon me for my efforts, as it was
COMPLETELY UNEXPECTED.  The only thing I could hope for now is that others follow my example, and make noteworthy contributions, not for a reward, but to realize that it IS, in fact, possible that ONE person can make a difference.

lol, what is this. Thanks JANCY. I really didn't expect this. Darkshine, ignore the haters. You deserve it. Also: If you want rewards, then post on forums like Darkshine does..

Edit: Ok. I just want to say a few things. The forum is like the HQ for 2029. Come here to relax and have fun. It's your own fault that you don't use the forums, not us. Dark decided to post on this forum and give excellent suggestion. No one forced him to come here. The suggestion that he hid was very long and nice, honestly, I didn't read it, because that's how long it is. I also would recommend Dark to become a mod, but I've done that in the past and the current mods are either inactive or busy. If you want to get involved in with this forum, show us that you do. Don't do it for us, do it because you enjoy the forums. It's free for everyone and we're waiting for more people to come. The forum is quite inactive and we won't more people to come, so feel free to invite friends. BTW I'm from the USA, too.

yup

Ya, I think I just might do that.  Mostly I would just want the ability to oversee the polls, and then compile the data, and create a suggestion for a change based upon the information.  Also, if the powers that be would be so gracious, the ability to do bulletins in game so that players know that new polls are available and their input is needed.  Hopefully people will start coming to the forums at least for that, and maybe take a glace around at other stuff as well.
